The Just One Project
Cartons of fresh milk, shredded cheese, and bright fruits stacked on wooden pallets filled the sun-soaked parking lot of William Orr Middle School this weekend.
Though unseen, warm smiles beamed beneath masks as volunteers passed food to the open trunks of community members and their families. This effort is part of The Just One Project which is a local non-profit that is working to combat food insecurity through innovative food pantries and grocery delivery programs.
I am so grateful to have been a part of the giving. It is wonderful to think that families will be sharing meals together with the food that has passed through loving hands.
